Alzueta Gallery is pleased to present Vuit paisatges i un dibuix, a solo show by Ramon Enrich, on view at Palau de Casavells from September 12 to October 25, 2026.
Over the years, Ramon Enrich has developed a body of work that moves almost obsessively between architecture, landscape and abstraction. Through a process of synthesis, he transforms spaces and structures into pared-down compositions capable of evoking memory through a subtle play of imagined reality. His paintings do not seek to reproduce the visible world, but rather to preserve its essence, creating settings that invite viewers into their own quiet theatre.
The eight paintings place memory at their core, each proposing a different visual game. At times through proportion, colour and rhythm; at others through illusion and pictorial density, allowing an initial sense of familiarity to unfold into something more poetic and symbolic.
Throughout Enrich’s work, the simplification of form and his distinctive way of seeing have become defining elements of his practice. By reducing the landscape to its essential qualities, he constructs archetypal spaces through architecture, light and colour that no longer belong to any specific place. These idealised visions transform each image into an open landscape capable of awakening the viewer&’s own memories. The landscape is not represented as it is, but as we remember it, imagine it or feel it.
Presented at Palau de Casavells, in the heart of the Empordà, the exhibition establishes a dialogue with its surroundings. Without making it explicit, Enrich’s paintings resonate naturally with the place that hosts them.
Vuit paisatges i un dibuix invites us to contemplate a body of work that captures the essence of the landscape and transforms it into memory.

Ramon Enrich’s work unfolds at the intersection of architecture, painting, and spatial imagination. His compositions depict silent landscapes inhabited by geometric buildings, simplified vegetation, and empty spaces where architecture becomes both subject and metaphor. Drawing inspiration from Rationalist architecture, Mediterranean vernacular constructions, and the metaphysical atmospheres of Giorgio de Chirico, Enrich creates timeless settings in which perspective, colour, and scale are subtly manipulated to produce a sense of quiet tension. Human figures are conspicuously absent, yet their presence is implied through the spaces they have left behind. Working across painting, sculpture and collage, Enrich reduces forms to their essential geometry, allowing composition, light, and colour to become vehicles for exploring memory, perception, and the symbolic power of architecture. His works balance formal precision with poetic ambiguity, transforming familiar architectural elements into contemplative and dreamlike scenarios.
