8.5 x 10.5 cm
3 3/8 x 4 1/8 inches
Signed on reverse
An orotone or gold tone is one of many types of photographic print which can be made from a negative. An orotone photograph is created by printing a positive on a glass plate precoated with a silver gelatin emulsion. Ninomiya's motifs are minimalistic, depictions of tiny, ephemerous moments and objects of everyday life. Brought to full beauty and quiet harmony through the usage of old photographic techniques.
