Read MoreKruip’s practice evokes an impression of Abstract Art and Minimalism in terms of its conformation, yet it inherits a spiritual tradition regarding its concepts; it features tension and relation occurred between physical appearance and spirit. The object’s intrinsic neat colour tone and its simple shape which reveals the original corporeality of the medium, ultimately highlight meanings and fundamental nature of the figure. Accordingly, this kinetic work of art completed by light, motion and geometric motifs expands possibilities and spectrums of abstraction. The installation not only demonstrates its outstanding formative aspects, but also attains a remarkable aesthetic sense through a harmony of the object and its reflection, shades and phantasmal visions caused by artificial lighting and natural radiance. By proficiently dealing with even the external realm of the object, Kruip triggers a dramatic effect which transforms both the piece and its domain into a certain stage and furthermore she builds a spiritual and meditative space stimulating human perception.
