Born in 1989 in Mafi-Adidome, Volta region, Ghana, Kingsley Dzade graduated with a degree in Painting from the Takoradi Technical University in 2014. Currently, he lives and works in Accra, Ghana.
Inspired by his connection with family, friends, and community, Dzade primarily paints portraits and figures. His work reflects the Ghanian society, with a central theme focused on the quest for social equality.
Using acrylic and oil as his primary mediums, Dzade’s paintings captivate viewers with their lifelike depiction, achieved through his meticulous attention to detail. His masterful brushstrokes breathe life into his portraits.
Dzade has recently completed a residency at WorldFaze Art Practice, where he presented a new series of works titled Mina Miadu Nu.
