Laurie Barron is a writer, consultant, curator, and gallery professional currently working as Gallery Associate at The Artist Room in Soho, London. Barron completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kent and the University of Hong Kong, earning a first-class BA in History and Philosophy of Art, later attending London's Goldsmiths to pursue an MA in Contemporary Art Theory where he received a Distinction. Recently, Barron has worked at London's distinguished gallery, Alison Jacques, as well as being a frequent contributor to online journalism platforms including Ocula, Art Basel, and DATEAGLE ART. Previously, Barron has worked with artist Tanya Ling; SHOWstudio; Fashion Illustration Gallery; and alongside artists Prem Sahib and George Henry Longly on their charity initiative, XTRADE and non-profit Ridley Road Project Space.
