Exhibition curator Niall Hobhouse, and Ulrich Meinherz, Director of Kesselhaus, a museum in St Gallen, Switzerland dedicated to Josephsohn’s life and work, discuss the exhibition Josephsohn / Märkli. A Conjunction at Hauser & Wirth Somerset. Bringing together works by the late Swiss sculptor Josephsohn (1920–2012) alongside the architectural drawings of his long-time friend, Swiss architect Peter Märkli (born 1953), this presentation is the meeting of two creative minds, exploring what two very different disciplines–sculpture and architecture–can offer the other as insight.
