Yoo Youngkuk is celebrated for his pioneering role in Korean abstract art, where he reinterprets nature through bold geometric forms and vibrant colors. At Frieze Masters 2024, his works will explore the fundamental themes of nature and existence, offering viewers a deep and profound visual experience.

Yun Hyong-keun, a leading figure in Dansaekhwa, is known for his minimalist use of colour and serene, contemplative compositions. His works reflect profound meditations on existence, conveying a sense of quiet power through simplicity. This exhibition will feature his most significant pieces, inviting viewers to engage with his deeply moving artistic practice.

Chung Chang-Sup is widely recognised for his innovative use of materials, particularly hanji (Korean mulberry paper) and acrylic, in works that explore the inherent properties of these mediums. His process-based approach, marked by repetition and energy accumulation, highlights his deep engagement with materiality. The works presented at Frieze Masters 2024 will offer insight into his ongoing exploration of material and form.

Suh Seung-Won’s work in geometric abstraction explores the interplay of time and space, creating depth within the two-dimensional plane. His paintings offer a fresh perspective on abstract art, opening new possibilities for visual experience. At Frieze Masters 2024, his works will provide viewers with an immersive and intellectually stimulating journey through abstraction.
