Maringka Baker is one of the most important painters from the central Australian desert. She is a member of Tjungu Palya, an Aboriginal owned and operated art centre located in Nyapari, South Australia. Baker is renowned for her finely rendered works which depict her traditional lands. She has exhibited widely, including international exhibition. Baker is held in public collections around Australia.
