b. 1979Pouyan (b. 1979, Isfahan, Iran) received his MFA in Integrated Practices and New Forms at the Pratt Institute, New York, and an MFA in Painting from the Tehran University of Art. His recent exhibitions include group shows at Carthage Museum, Tunis; REDCAT, Los Angeles; LACMA; and the Armory Show, NY. His work is in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The British Museum.
