Casey Carsel is a writer, artist, and editor based between Auckland, New Zealand, and Chicago, USA. They hold a BFA from the University of Auckland and an MFA in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and have been the recipient of a Fulbright Creative Writing Grant, a New York Public Library Short-Term Fellowship, and a Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs Individual Artist Program Grant, amongst other accolades.
