Toniann Fernandez is a writer and performer working across essay, fiction, feature, interview, poetry, and review. Her writing has appeared in The Paris Review, Do Not Research, Interview Magazine, KARMA, Real Pain Fine Arts, Harkawik Gallery, Cultured Magazine, and Bon Appétit. She has presented readings and performances at the New Museum, Real Pain Fine Arts, Pioneer Works, Montez Press Radio, Nublu (with Good Evening Repertory), Sunview Luncheonette, Secret Project Robot, and Bowery Poetry. Residencies include Art Farm Nebraska (2022) and Woodward Residency (2023). She holds a BA in Visual/Linguistic Studies from NYU’s Gallatin School (2014) and is represented by Sterling Lord Literistic.
