In Thinking Out Loud, Jono Toh transforms the quiet terrain of introspection into bold, tangible forms. Each work emerges from a dialogue between the conscious and subconscious - moments of reflection distilled into lines, shapes and colour.

These visual expressions navigate the uncertainties of his lived experience with clarity and optimism, inviting viewers to step into the space where thought becomes visible, and where even in uncertainty, light persists.

About the Artist

After a career as a fashion designer between New York, Hong Kong and Sydney, Jono Toh turned to painting. At the heart of Toh’s practice lies a personal process of deconstructing emotions, memories and experiences that connect the conscious and the unconscious. Through bold visual forms, Toh distills moments of introspection, representing the complexity of his inner reflection. In Thinking Out Loud, Toh transforms the silent terrain of introspection into tangible forms, where each work emerges from a dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious.
