Curated by Sung woo Kim, this group exhibition presents new work by 6 Korean artists: Jesse Chun, Eugene Jung, Yongju Kwon, Minsun, Hwayeon Nam and Yooyun Yang. The second group exhibition at Thaddaeus Ropac to specifically highlight Korean artists – following the 2023 show Myths of Our Time – the presentation continues the gallery’s celebration of the global reach of the dynamic contemporary art scene in Seoul. Paintings, drawings, sculptures and video works will be brought together across the first and second floors of the Seoul gallery, highlighting the distinctive practices of the participating artists.Sung woo Kim is a Seoul-based curator and writer.
