With Chinese contemporary art as the central focus of Galerie Urs Meile’s agenda, their showcase at this year’s Art Basel in Basel will spotlight emerging and established Chinese artists such as Cai Dongdong, Cao Yu, Chen Zuo, Hu Qingyan, Ju Ting, Miao Miao, Zhang Xuerui, alongside renowned figures like Wang Xingwei, Shao Fan, Xie Nanxing, and Qiu Shihua. Remaining loyal to their origins, the presentation will also integrate pieces by Swiss artists, including works by Mirko Baselgia, Rebekka Steiger, Julia Steiner, Urs Lüthi and Wiedemann/Mettler, along with contributions from Spain-based artist Antonio Ballester Moreno and UK-based artist Rosalind Nashashibi.
