Following our sell-out limited edition print release with The Connor Brothers, in collaboration with Noel Gallagher and Teenage Cancer Trust, we take a closer look at the internationally renowned artistic duo and their signature style.
Reinterpreting old Penguin Book covers and 1950s paper backs for a modern audience, the pair produce highly sought-after paintings and prints which have garnered international attention. Featuring concise text which is as profound as it is entertaining, The Connor Brothers' artwork seeks to make fun of modern materialism, whilst remaining light-hearted. The duo frequently adopt famous phrases from history and pair this comical text with seductive pin-up girls, merging fact and fiction. Tell Me Beautiful Untrue Things: The Connor Brothers explores the duo's investigation of truth and fabrication in their work, focusing on ideas of experience versus reality.
