This exhibition took place at our previous Palm Beach location.
Pace is pleased to present Parallel Lines, a group exhibition centering on the phenomenological powers of pattern and geometry, at its Palm Beach gallery.
On view from June 16 to August 27, this curated presentation will feature paintings by Hermann Nitsch, Kenneth Noland, and Thomas Nozkowski; a sculpture by Louise Nevelson; and a handwoven textile on canvas by Brent Wadden.
Celebrating the allure of color and shape, Parallel Lines brings together artworks by a group of intergenerational artists, each with their own unique and distinctive approach to making. Holistically, the show explores the aesthetic possibilities and beauty of abstraction across various mediums. The artworks included were each forged through combinations of formal precision and spontaneous creativity. As such, the exhibition speaks to the harmonious relationship between craftsmanship and imagination.
Parallel Lines encourages close considerations of the visual idiosyncrasies that appear in the abstractions on view. In this presentation, viewers are invited to embrace new ways of seeing, experiencing, and communing with shape, pattern, and color in painting and sculpture.
