For the 2024 edition of Sydney Contemporary 1301SW and STARKWHITE will jointly present a body of work by leading New Zealand, Australian, and international artists, but with a reductive palate. Comprised primarily of monotoned and mirrored surfaces, our substantial presentation will stand out as a clear and deeply considered offering that highlights the emotive values of tonal continuity.

Featuring new work by the likes of Jonny Niesche, Fiona Pardington and Jelena Telecki, we will also offer historic works by acclaimed photographer Bill Henson alongside a younger generation with sculptures and paintings by Lewis Fidock & Joshua Petherick, and New Zealand’s Jamie Te Heuheu. Further, we are excited to debut additional artists when their Australian representation with 1301SW is announced closer to the fair.
