STATION is pleased to be returning to Art Basel Hong Kong this month, following on from our successful 2024 booth presentation of Shireen Taweel and Daniel Boyd, with Boyd also commissioned for an offsite installation within Encounters.

At Art Basel Hong Kong 2025, we will present a dual exhibition with New Zealand artist Zac Langdon-Pole, and First Nations Australian artist Mantua Nangala. Our booth will focus on a visual discourse between Langdon-Pole’s three-dimensional forms and Nangala’s intricately detailed canvas works, both exploring micro and macro histories through time and space.

Concurrent with his participation in Art Basel Hong Kong, Langdon-Pole is exhibiting within The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial at QAGOMA, Brisbane, Australia. In 2018, the artist was awarded the BMW Art Journey Prize, which saw him travel the globe following the pathways of migratory birds and celestial navigators.

Mantua Nangala is a Pintupi elder hailing from a long line of successful Papunya Tula artists and remains a leading member of the art centre today. Nangala has exhibited internationally including recent exhibitions in New York. In 2022, the National Gallery of Australia featured five large scale paintings by Mantua in their 4th Annual Indigenous Art Triennale.
