"In Europe I learned to consider things from many perspectives, not only from one angle, such as ideology, politics etc., but with a broader horizon. This is the same with the definition of your identity. One cannot define it from one angle. My works deal with the question of human nature. This is also a global question. I do not deal with this question under the aspect of different cultures but rather from an abstract angle. Human nature is the same everywhere, only the outer appearance is different." -Du Zhenjun.
