Ginger Riley Munduwalawala (c.1936–2002), a visionary Marra artist, was known for luminous, aerial‑perspective paintings of his mother’s Country near the Limmen Bight River, depicting the Four Archers and their ancestral beings in bold colour and flattened form that made him one of Australia’s most celebrated contemporary landscape painters.
