Born in Melbourne in 1951, Peter Tyndall studied architecture in Melbourne. He co-founded the Fosterville Institute of Applied and Progressive Cultural Experience in 1972 and was artist-in-residence at Monash University in 1975. A painter and sculptor he has exhibited extensively since 1972 in Australia and Europe. Peter Tyndall's works are represented in the Australian National Gallery, and Queensland and New South Wales state galleries.
