At 94, Alex Katz shows no sign of slowing, having painted seven new monumental landscape paintings for his remarkable solo exhibition at Gladstone Gallery.
Filled corner to corner with his characteristic monochromatic palette, his canvases are a sounding board for his crisply articulated technique, where broad strokes and blurred light give the sense of a fleeting moment in time.
