Louise Bourgeois at Art Gallery of New South Wales
25 November 2023–28 April 2024 Save to My OculaLouise Bourgeois’ largest-ever exhibition in Australia, Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day?, has opened at the Art Gallery of New South Wales | AGNSW in Sydney. Beginning with the monumental Maman (1999) in the gallery’s forecourt, the show continues across multiple sites including the underground Tank, where the haunting psychological tension in Bourgeois’ works can be witnessed in dramatic darkness.
