"Ivy" belongs to the eponymous group of works that the artist began about five years ago and has been revisiting regularly ever since. Tony Cragg develops the form of the sculpture from drawings in which he sketches the profile of the sculpture from different views, usually offset by 90° from each other. Cast in bronze, the patina in different color makes each cast distinctive and unique.
