7 years ago we began archiving exhibition video.
We look at the artist’s growth as a ‘subject’, not as the ‘object’, communicating with them, recording them, and dreaming of their brilliant future together. By contemplating what a gallery is and what the role of a gallery is, we establish our own standards. We will continue to show the various stories of the city and here where we live and constantly talk about abandoned things and things to pay attention to.
Gallery Chosun is located in Bukchon area, where large galleries and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea are found. With its tall ceiling and walls, the gallery earned its reputation for changing into a different space every exhibition.
