‘Museo Del Prado 2’, 2005 a photo by Thomas Struth from the artist’s series of Museum pictures shot in Madrid's world-renowned Prado Museum.
The photo permits the simultaneous anthropological comparison of people from widely divergent places and times under the aspects of cultural difference and global mobility. Behind the two young ladies are seen paintings by the Spanish artist Diego Velázquez (1599-1660), showing full-length portraits of the Greek fabulist Aesop and Philip IV of Spain.
