Kitchen Sink (2026) conjures the jumble and clatter of washing up: pale shapes suggest plates, perhaps a tap with water running down at right, and forms blur together as if seen through water. Only the spoons stay sharp: as the picture’s one point of order, the repeated motion of sifting and sorting is made visible. Yet their offset outlines, like frames from a cartoon, make that order playful as well as practical. Around them, flashes of red, orange, yellow and blue break through a ground of white, grey and beige, giving the chore a childlike energy.
