About Art Basel Hong Kong 2026

Since its inaugural edition launched in 2013, Art Basel Hong Kong has rapidly grown into the largest and most important international art fair in Hong Kong. The first Art Basel fair to take place in Asia, ABHK provides a platform for the world’s leading galleries and artists to showcase modern and contemporary art with a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The range of artworks shown at ABHK includes but is not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, performance, installation, and film.

In addition to the main exhibition, ABHK’s robust programme includes panel discussions, talks, screenings, performances, and offsite presentations at esteemed venues across the city. ABHK typically coincides with Hong Kong Art Week, which encompasses the art fair Art Central and exhibitions and events at major institutions such as Para Site, M+, and Tai Kwan Contemporary.
