This fully illustrated catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibition Chung Sang-Hwa, presented by Dominique Lévy in conjunction with Greene Naftali. Chung Sang-Hwa constituted the first solo exhibition of the artist's work in the United States and spanned the artist's career:
A survey of Chung's work–beginning in 1969 and ending in 2014–was on view at Dominique Lévy Gallery and recent paintings, composed between 2007 and 2015, were displayed at Greene Naftali. The publication features a newly commissioned essay by art historian Tim Griffin, an original poem by Yuko Otomo written in response to his encounter with Chung's painting, and a comprehensive chronology contextualising the major developments in Chung's life and work within the framework of both European and Asian postwar art and culture.
