Isca Greenfield-Sanders was born in 1978 in New York City’s East Village, where she currently lives and works. She graduated from Brown University in 2000 with a double major in fine arts and mathematics. In 2001 she was a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome.

Solo exhibitions include Haunch of Venison, New York and London (2011, 2012); John Berggruen Gallery, San Francisco, CA (2005, 2007, 2010, 2014); Galerie Klüser, Munich, Germany (2003, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2013); Baldwin Gallery, Aspen, CO (2002, 2005, 2009, 2015); Goff + Rosenthal, New York, NY (2006, 2008); Lombard Freid Fine Arts, New York, NY (2002); and Galeria In Arco, Turin, Italy (2000, 2001.) In 2010 her work was the subject of a solo exhibition titled “Light Leaks” at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Her work was the subject of a two-person exhibition at the Museum Morsbroich in Leverkusen, Germany (2006) and in 2003 she created a project room at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center.
