Alexandra Roozen lives in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She graduated cum laude from AKV| Art Academy St. Joost and at DBKV| Willem de Kooning Academy. Since 2011 she has been teaching at the Willem de Kooning Academy and giving master classes, most recently at the Frank Mohr Institute, the Drawing Center Diepenheim and as a mentor at the CBK in Rotterdam for Research and Development.
Projects are partly realised during work periods in guest studios, such as MAKE Eindhoven, the IK Pavilions (NL), and the Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art (KOR). Supported by scholarships from the Mondriaan Fund and the Visual Art Centre Rotterdam.
