Born in Xinjiang, China in 1965, Alika graduated from Changji Normal College and Xinjiang Normal University’s Department of Fine Arts. He has been creating through mediums including painting, photography, and multimedia since 2002 while also being a bass guitarist who has engaged in musical events and formed a band. Alika is an influential artist in Xinjiang despite not actively pursuing contemporary art.
