Anna Nero (b. 1988 in Moskau, RU) lives and works in Frankfurt. She studied at Kunsthochschule Mainz and at Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig, where she graduated in 2017 as a „Meisterschülerin” of Heribert C. Ottersbach. In 2019 and 2022 she was a lecturer at the Kunsthochschule Mainz. Anna Nero has been displayed in numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad. This year, she presented her solo shows »Slippery Slope« at the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig, DE, »Obsessions, Another Place« in New York City, US and »False Green« at plain gallery, Milan, IT. In 2019 and 2020, she was part of the widely noticed exhibition series »Now! Painting in Germany«.
