GALIA GLUCKMAN

In 2019, Gluckman presented her solo presentation, cellular state at SMAC Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa. In the same year she exhibited works as part of SMAC Gallery’s presentation at FNB Art Joburg at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa and the Investec Cape Town Art Fair in Cape Town South Africa. Galia’s works were recently included in That was Then, a group exhibition at SMAC Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2018 Gluckman presented solo shows, Metas (boundaries) and Ora (edge), at CIRCA Gallery in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. She participated in a number of group exhibitions in 2018, namely WINTER and SUMMER Exhibition, both at Everard Read in London as well as Back to the Future III: Abstract Art in South Africa, Past and Present at SMAC Gallery in Stellenbosch. Gluckman’s works have been included in Everard Read’s presentation at the 2018 Investec Cape Town Art Fair and the 2018 FNB Joburg Art Fair. Gluckman is the recipient of the 2009 Global Green Artist Challenge award, which was exhibited at the International ArtExpo in New York City, USA; as well as the 2010 New York Public Artwork Commission which was commissioned by the Great Neck Plaza Mayor, Jean Celender, in New York City, USA.

Gluckman is represented in a number of private and corporate collections, namely the Hilton Hotel Group in the USA; Galila Barzilai-Hollander’s private collection in Belgium; the Dame Anita Roddick Collection in the UK; and a number of private collections in Australia, the UAE, Israel, South Africa, Spain, the UK and the USA. In South Africa, these collections include the Leeu Collection Franschoek; M&C Saatchi Abel; Rupert Collection; South African Presidential Collection; Spier Arts Collection; Investec Collection; Galila Barzilaï-Hollander Collection and The Ackerman-Berman Collection.
