Glen Hayward’s sculptures of objects such as cardboard boxes or light switches are crafted from wood to imitate the form and materials they are modelled on, raising questions about the status of art objects and the gallery environment.
Hayward graduated from the Auckland University School of Fine Arts (Elam) in 2003 and is represented in the collection of the Auckland Art Gallery, Auckland, New Zealand.
