IAN ROBERTS
b. 1960, AustraliaIan Roberts was born at Ernabella Mission in the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands in the 1960s. He was raised by his mother, artist Iyawi Wikilyiri, and his aunt, artist Nura Rupert. Before beginning to paint with Tjungu Palya in 2008, Roberts worked in housing repairs at Indulkana and later as a police aide at Ernabella.
