Karin Weber Gallery artist, Australian Jonathan Thomson, is a Hong Kong-based sculpture and abstract artist who takes as his subject matter the female form. The artist works in many mediums: steel, aluminum, light, and gesso- on paper and canvas.
Jonathan Thomson is an Artist, Art Historian, Critic and Curator. He has held senior management positions with the Australia Council for the Arts, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and the Global University Alliance. In 2013, Thomson was appointed adjunct Professor of Art History at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Hong Kong.
