Hsu, Jui Chien is a Miaolu-born artist. He graduated from Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan University of the Arts in 2020. As an emerging artist, he won the quality award of Taipei Art Awards and Koashiung Award (Spatial Art) in 2019. Furthermore, he held four solo exhibitions in the duration of 2020, which were Set a blank, Gradient and A layer goes through a layer exhibited at Kalos Gallery, NU NU Fine Art and IT Park, and Sway 3mm that showed at the Taipei Dangdai Art & Ideas. Hsu attempts to revive the spirit of objects through his art. By exploration and construction, gradually, the essence of the object may appear. The force given by him, that generates influence and development to the reality, is his measure of entry to the world and approach to the objects. Led by his body and curiosity, has him intervened in the environment with keen observation. He destructs, transforms and reconstructs into his own pieces. The posture of direct and intimacy in his art have progressively revealed the unknown conscious of objects. Additionally, elaborated the ambiguous contradiction in-between to the audience.
