LANGALIKI LANGALIKI
b. 1936, AustraliaLangaliki Langaliki (c. 1936 – 2016) was born in the bush near Amata to a Yankunytjatjara mother from Makiri, southwest of Kaltjiti, and a Pitjantjatjara father from Palatu. As a child, she moved to Ernabella, where she attended the mission school and later worked in the kitchen and craft room, learning weaving and sewing. After marrying, Langaliki worked on pastoral stations, including Kenmore Park, before beginning to paint in 2002.
