Patricia Esquivias was born in Caracas in 1979 and grew up in Madrid. She trained in London, at the Chelsea College of Art and Design (1997-1998) and at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (1998-2001), and expanded her artistic studies at the California College of Arts ( 2005-2007). With the curator Manuela Moscoso, he founded los29enchufes, an independent art space that operated in Madrid between 2001 and 2009.
