English-Italian artist Robert Pettena (1970) lives in Florence teaching photography both at the Carrara and Florence Art Academy. He focuses his own artistic research on the relationship between opposites: industrial archeology and nature, conventional borgeois and free anarchic values and education, human being and artificial object. His languages are photography and also installation and video.
