Born and based in Macau, Wong is now mainly focused on his contemporary photography works and teaching higher education at various colleges and universities.
During his studies abroad in the United Kingdom for more than a decade, Wong acquired his master’s degree in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, Newport, UK. The university is celebrated for its Documentary Photography program, which was founded by one of Magnum Photos renowned photographers—David Hurn. Wong also received his bachelor’s degree in Photography from the University of East London.
As an artist, Wong has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide, operating under the name ‘Rusty Fox’. His works have been collected by international art corporations, academic institutions, private galleries, and collectors around the world. One of Wong’s self-published photo books, BRutAL (2016), has been collected by Oxford and Cambridge University, Trinity College, and three other international archives in the United Kingdom: The British, Wales, and Scotland National Libraries.
