SANTIAGO MORILLA
Born in Madrid in 1973, he lives and works between Madrid and Rome. A graduate in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, he specialized in “New Media Art” at TAIK, Art and Design University in Helsinki (Finland).
Basically he is a painter and a street artist who works site specific. His interventions were born from the decision to integrate not only the local environment but also the global cartography, with works that are visible from a long distance. His purpose is to reveal the references that are present in a specific context, with a high level of conceptual penetration, leaving the meaning open to the interpretation but also full of contents and metaphors.
