Thomas Arnolds (b. 1975, Geilenkirchen, Germany) is a contemporary artist whose practice encompasses painting, installation, and collaborative projects. Arnolds’ work is defined by rigorous explorations of gesture, repetition, and formal systems, often investigating the interplay between structure and improvisation.
His projects engage with both material and conceptual approaches, creating works that are simultaneously precise and open to interpretation.
Arnolds lives and works in Cologne, Germany. He co-founded the artist collective F.Y.W. and has developed a practice rooted in the translation of physical and conceptual processes into visual form. His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Europe and internationally, reflecting an ongoing interest in the relationship between space, movement, and perception.
