Xavier Antin (1981) lives and works between the Île-de-France and Isère regions. Trained in graphic design at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and then at the Royal College of Art in London, he has been developing an artistic practice for over 10 years based on printed tools, the history of work and social struggles.
His work is particularly focused on the evolution of industrial, artisanal and amateur techniques, as well as in the presence of gestures and the living in general within production devices. Represented by the Crèvecœur gallery since 2012, his practice takes the form of sculptures, printed things and artists’ books.
