A collection of Victor Man‘s ominous and fantastical oil works are on view at Sant’Andrea de Scaphis—a deconsecrated church turned art gallery in Rome.
Victor Man’s old-masterly style continues around the walls of Sant’Andrea de Scaphis, taking inspiration from the recollection of a dream experienced by the neoclassical painter Ingres, when he was living in Rome in 1837 working at the French Academy.
