Sitting directly opposite the century-old Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit market, which operates throughout the night, this building is an example of a post-war composite building, a type of tong lau, with shops and businesses on the ground floor, and 17 floors of residential accommodation above. © Stefan Irvine.
