Press Release

D Lan Galleries is again thrilled to participate in TEFAF Maastricht 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious art, antiques and design fairs. In 2026, we will present a survey of the contemporary Aboriginal art movement, represented through twelve exceptional masterworks that chart the evolution of this vital artistic tradition.

Featuring Emily Kam Kngwarray, Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori, Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri, Makinti Napanangka, Gordon Bennett, and Johnny Warangula Tjupurrula, among others, this will be a rare opportunity for an international audience to experience museum-quality paintings by some of Australia’s most celebrated First Nations artists.

We are proud to present this esteemed collection of paintings, which has been carefully curated to provide an historical insight into the astonishing diversity, complexity, and sophistication of the art and culture of Australia’s First Peoples. Through this thoughtfully assembled collection, we endeavour to showcase the creative achievement, cultural knowledge, and evolving dynamism of Indigenous artistic practices that continue to shape Australia’s cultural landscape.
