For her fourth exhibition with Galerie Buchholz Silke Otto-Knapp (* 1970, lives and works in Los Angeles) shows new paintings and collages. In her works for this exhibition, Otto-Knapp revisits the iconic choreography of Bronislawa Nijinskas for Igor Stravinsky's ballet Les Noces, which premiered in 1923, and the production animal/vegetable/mineral by the Michael Clark Company, 2012–2013.
In the Waiting Room, a solo exhibition by Silke Otto-Knapp, will be on view at The Renaissance Society, Chicago, through 29 March. In addition, works by Silke Otto-Knapp are currently on view in the new collection presentations at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Tate Modern, London. Silke Otto-Knapp will participate in a Michael Clark exhibition at the Barbican Art Gallery in London this June. Silke Otto-Knapp is Professor of Painting at UCLA, Los Angeles.
