For the Armory Show 2024, Gallery Baton presents ‘Seeing Intervals’, a solo exhibition by Suzanne Song, a Korean-American artist based in New York. By establishing spatial conditions aligned with her unique perceptual understanding, Song renders her paintings and installations using minimal lines and a subdued color palette. She has spent over two decades refining her unique approach which allows her to redefine the ways space is perceived and visually articulated. At the booth 215, Gallery Baton will display her new paintings that explore the dual nature of space through cognitive and perceptual languages.

About the Artist

Suzanne Song, a Korean American contemporary artist, quietly intriguing artworks tease the limits of what a painting can do. Employing a restrained palette and crisp, minimal contours, Song’s work poetically investigates the notion of space, using geometric compositions that dissolve the line between illusion and physical reality.
